AP EAMCET Counselling 2017: The result of AP EAMCET will be declared on 6th May, 2017. Post result declaration, candidates will be invited for AP EAMCET Counselling 2017 which will tentatively be held in June, 2017. The seat allotment will be done on basis of rank achieved by the candidate in the EAMCET Merit List. Seat will be allotted to only those students who have successfully verified their required documents and have locked their list of preferred colleges on the online portal. About AP EAMCET: EAMCET also know as Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test is a state level entrance test organized by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on the behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). AP EAMCET is conducted to provide admissions to candidates in various undergraduate professional courses offered by different universities and institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

AP EAMCET Counselling Procedure
AP EAMCET Counselling will commence in the first week of June by the admission committee of JNTU, Kakinada. The candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their rank in EAMCET 2017 Exam. AP EAMCET Counselling Procedure is divided in 4 phases:
Phase I – Verification of Documents
- While applying for AP EAMCET Exam, candidates must have selected a Help Line Center (HCL). The candidates will have to report at the selected Help Line Centre for document verification.
- Candidates will be called as per their rank achieved in AP EAMCET 2017. They will be asked for counselling fees.
- Post successful verification of all the documents, computer operator will hand over a receipt of registration cum verification of documents. Please double check the information on the receipt to avoid problems in future.
List of Required Documents
(i) AP EAMCET Hall Ticket and Rank Card.
(ii) Class X and XII mark-sheets.
(iii) Transfer & Character Certificate as issued by the school.
(iv) Aadhar Card of the candidate.
(v) Disability & Category Certificate (If Applicable).
(vi) Income Certificate (Issues after 1 January, 2017).
(vii) NCC/ CAP/ Sports Certificate, if applicable.
Please keep at least two photocopies of each document with you while entering the Help Line Centre.

Phase II – Selection of Colleges
The candidates will have to register and generate a new password at the counselling portal of AP EAMCET. Candidates can register themselves by following these steps:
- Visit the AP EAMCET Counselling Portal.
- Click on “Register as a Candidate” button of the webpage.
- Enter the details asked carefully in the field given (Hall Ticket Number, Mobile Number, Date of Birth & Stream).
- Click on the “Register” button. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Upon successful registration, a candidate will have to login with the newly created account. Post that candidate will be offered a list of colleges offering admission under EAMCET Exam. Candidate can select any number of colleges he/she wants.
Phase III – Confirming the Selection of Options
The modification in the list of selected colleges can be made before the last date of submission any number of times. Please remember to save the modified list and logout every time you open the counselling portal.
Phase IV – Allotment of Seats
AP EAMCET Seat Allotment will be based on candidate’s rank, gender, caste and city. Seats will be allotted on the basis of list prepared by each candidate. The list of seats allotted will be published online on the EAMCET counselling portal.
Upon successful allotment of seat candidate will have to download the Challan Form of payment of fees and deposit it to nearest branch of Andhra Pradesh Bank or Indian Bank. Fee receipt will be given to the candidate by the bank upon successful transaction. Candidate will have to report to the Help Line Centre and institute allotted to confirm the admission and allotment of seat.
If a candidate fails to get a seat in the first round or is not happy with the seat allotted, he/she can apply for consecutive rounds which will be held soon after the first round.
